just what I WAS LOOKING FOR, RIGHT SIZE, EASY TO READ, CAN KEEP TRACK OF TEMPS. OUTSIDE.......

Like the big numbers. Easy to read. Appears sturdy. Expect years of service. Recommend

It’s a cheap plastic thermometer for people that don’t want all the frills. I hang it in my garage and it works fine

I got this to help my child understand outdoor temperatures better. The back does come off and I placed red paper on anything below 32° and above 90° (she is on oxygen and cant go out beyond those temps).

I had an original -Well as close to original build one would probably see today, 1968. It had a flush face and edges, nothing rounded off. I still prefer the old style (also 8inch) type but it's been chipped away too much. Left it side by side with this new 8." Both read the same temperature, that's good enough for me when a digital comparison was about 2 degrees F difference from an inaccurate eye view, I mean I don't have a digital eye yet :). Actually bought two. Cheers

I have this hanging on a post in the back yard. The numbers are big enough that all I need is one quick look to know how much or little to "bundle-up". Seems like a well made quality product from a reputable company.

We bought it for our patio - it looks goods and is easy to read.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. The numbers are very large and easy to read. That's a 5. But, I talked with my daughter and she said hers read 10 degrees higher no matter what the temperature is. I don't know if there is a way to calibrate it or fix it. It is in the house along side some other one she just purchased and it always reads 10 degrees higher. I was wanting to buy me one, but not now. I will look for something different.

Appears to work ok. Nice big numbers. Easy to read. Should glue to wall if mounted in high traffic area or will fall off wall. It was desogned to hange on wall like s picture. No way except glue will firmly attach it to anything. Some tape a silicon cement workd good. After glue sets up remove the tape

Had major power outage, like most everybody else, in the winter of 2013. Well guess what? I had gotten lazy and used the internet to check daily temps. So, when I NEEDED to know the temp, had no clue. Ya, I know. . . but what can I say. We took down the old thermometer to paint, and somehow it never got back up. Well NOW I can see the temp without my reading glasses out the window. Good item. Fast shipping.
