Have discernment
I realized that we should be seeking the Lord in his word, the Bible, instead of trying to hear his voice through others. We are told to test the spirits to discern who is actually speaking. I know a lot of people who purchase these books (including myself and now regretting) are looking to hear from God maybe the easy way. But sometimes the easy way isn't the right way. Who knows where this woman got this word from. I want to be sure that any word I get is from the Lord and from him alone from me building a relationship with him
An Excellent Devotional
I chose this book because it was written by the same author of another book that I am reading. Ms Young writes in such an unusual way. I intend to read and recommend as many of her journals as possible. I will be presenting in a seminar that will be focusing on "getting in the face of God". I plan to purchase some of the author's devotional books to give to those in attendance.

I have read this book several times. I put a checkmark at the top of the page each time I read it and I make notes in it. I write down my thoughts and the insights I get from it. Short and thought-provoking daily devotion.
Great small gift of encouragement !
I have been using the Jesus Calling devotional book for many years. It’s an all time favorite of mine. I ran across these booklets years ago and always keep a few on hand .I have given them to friends and others going through difficult times , and also as an easy travel devotion . They are always well received ! A great find !
Love the format
I've read Jesus Calling daily for years and love it. Decided to give this little booklet a try and enjoyed it so much that I've given it to several friends. It's wonderful for "launching" into a time of daily prayer and Bible reading. The 40-day format is convenient and because it's small, it's easy to pack.

The three devotionals I have read from this author are all worthy companions for a day spent with the Lord. And the fact and wonder of his very presence with us is returned to often in the content. I chose this one to read during lent.
Wonderful
This is another one of Sara Young's beautiful books. I just got this one last week and I read it every morning with the Jesus Calling and Jesus Today books. They truly are wonderful books. I have learned so much about how to handle life's diffieculties, joys and being thankful for the many gifts we receive every day that we sometimes just take for granted. These books are so wonderful to help you as a guide to you dialy life. Hope you enjoy this book and learn from it as much as I have.
Great daily devotional
I enjoyed using this book as a tool for daily devotions. Great read to stay connected to the Saviour. I also enjoyed the Bible reflections. Great read. I highly recommend it.
